Samsung could be creating another smartwatch for 2015. This time, it will be circular. The Korean Giant is expected to unveil a circular smartwatch with a rotary bezel at the MWC expo this year.
Samsung is faced with fierce competition from Motorola and LG with smartwatches these days. With Apple entering the picture, the company is hard at work to unveil a hay marker device. The undercover smartwatch is codenamed Orbis. There is a possibility that this could be the successor to the Galaxy Gear 2.
The Orbis smartwatch will most likely be the more appealing smartwatch from Sammy since most of their devices seem to be….square. The stylish smartwatch could be competing heavily with the upcoming Apple Watch. The rotating crown will be meant for easier navigation. It will also have a crown shaped power button. Apple will have something similar for easy navigation and zooming. However, the Apple Watch will utilize the crown instead of the face of the smartwatch. The power key will most likely be used for launching apps, waking up the smartwatch, opening up S Voice, and other useful features. Design will be the main purpose of the Samsung Orbis. There is no telling how stylish it will be, but if the design isn’t up to snuff, sales could go to other smartwatches.
